College Pitcher summer training
Overview
If you’re a college pitcher coming home for the summer and you actually want to make a jump this is for you.
The Diamond Nine College Summer Pitcher Program is built around one thing: real development. Not just throwing to stay in shape. Not random bullpens.
Every week runs on a structured rotation of A Days, B Days, Recovery Days, and Live At-Bats so your workload makes sense and your progress builds over time.
A Days are high-intent development days. We build into 90% effort the right way controlled early, aggressive once you’re stretched out. These days include long toss progression, pull-down work, flat-ground execution, and scheduled bullpens. Using Rapsodo Pitch Tracking.
B Days are 75–80% controlled intent. We focus on direction, timing, mobility, and mechanical efficiency while keeping the arm fresh. You’re still developing just without unnecessary stress.
Recovery Days are light catch, arm care, and mobility. If you want to throw hard consistently, you have to recover correctly.
Fridays are Live At-Bat Days. Real hitters. Real competition. Game-speed intensity. Sessions are recorded, and Rapsodo data is used during bullpens and competitive work so you can see exactly what’s happening with velocity, spin, and movement. We track progress we don’t guess.
Plyo ball work, mobility training, and rotational strength are integrated into the system because velocity isn’t just about arm strength. It’s about positions, sequencing, and durability.
Goal of the summer is simple:
Increase usable velocity
Improve command under pressure
Build durability
Establish a professional routine
Show up in the fall ahead of where you left
Diamond Nine is building a modern pitching environment focused on structure, biomechanics, measurable data, and competitive exposure.
